Meine Werke zeichnen sich durch eine einzigartige Verschmelzung von Realismus und Abstraktion aus. Dieser exotische Vogel lebt in Afrika und in Europa! Im Winter zieht er nach Afrika und im Sommer kommt er zurück nach Süddeuropa. Seit rund 30 Jahren lebt dieser wunderbare Vogel wieder am Kaiserstuhl (meine Heimat). Aufgrund seiner Farben ist er ein perfektes Malmotiv. Aber er ist auch ein besonderer Vogel, den man gerne sieht. Der Bienenfresser (Merops apiaster) gehört zu den farbenprächtigsten Vögeln Europas. Dieses Kunstwerk ist eine Hommage an diese Vogelart. Gemalt ist der Vogel im realistischen Stil auf einen zuvor gegossenen abstrakten Pouring-Hintergrund in Acrylfarben.
