Sylvia Baldeva

Sylvia Baldeva is a versatile artist whose work is characterized by a multidisciplinary approach. Born in Bulgaria into an artistic environment, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Fine and Contemporary Art from the Sorbonne in Paris. She has worked in graphic, fashion and decorative design and as a freelance illustrator for prestigious clients such as Armani, Lancôme, L'Oréal and The Boston Globe.

Her art is based on the concepts of "Transformed Memories" and "Imaginary Journeys" and is created without sketches, directly on the surface. The motifs unfold in a constant interplay between control and letting go to express emotions and perceptions directly. Her works are characterized by a poetic and timeless dimension.

Sylvia Baldeva regularly exhibits internationally and is an official ambassador for Canson®.
