Rebecca Maclean

Rebecca Anne Maclean is an abstract artist and designer. Originally from the Orkney Islands in the north of Scotland, she draws inspiration from diverse sources such as energy, movement, emotion and the beauty of nature. Known for her use of black and neutral colours, Rebecca enjoys experimenting with new and unique tools on canvas.

She works predominantly on raw, untreated cotton fabric, focusing on expressive brushstrokes and uncompromising abstractions that convey an effortless elegance. Her work has been featured in curations on Bluethumb and Saatchi and is a popular choice among leading interior designers worldwide. Rebecca also collaborates with select suppliers in Australia, Canada, the USA and Europe.

Rebecca is currently open for commissions and collaborations while continuing to sell her powerful abstract works to collectors around the world. In addition to art, her great passions include yoga, travel, interior design and all things luxury.
