Esther Ammann, born in Zofingen in 1971, brings structured, dynamic scenes to life by using fine details, glazes, deep shadows and many layers in a mixed media style. Nature is a leitmotif in most of her works, as are the dimensions of nature in relation to humans. The works leave room for interpretation and are intended to allow the viewer to access them in their own way.
She has taken part in several solo and group exhibitions, art fairs and was represented for several years at the art supermarket in Solothurn. Professionally, Esther Ammann works creatively as an interaction designer and deals with user interactions with digital systems and the design of interface surfaces.
