Achao, a French painter with an international background, invites us to discover a calm and introspective universe. Through his works, he captures the essence of a world in constant motion, offering both a visual and spiritual experience.

Achao's art revolves around three categories of motifs. The first, inspired by Henri Matisse's paper cutouts, unites color and form in a graceful dance. The second pays tribute to the bas-reliefs of the Dhamek Stupa in Sarnath, a major Buddhist site in northern India, where the abundance of organic motifs conveys a deep spirituality. Finally, Achao explores the fascinating tangle of bubbles, transforming them into an infinite network of lines that enhances the immersive quality of his large-scale paintings.

Achao exhibits in France, Belgium and Italy and his works have been shown in prestigious venues such as the Institut français Centre Saint-Louis in Rome and the Angelica Gallery. A solo exhibition was dedicated to him at the Saint-Paul campus of the Catholic University of Lyon (UCLy) and he has also exhibited at the Halles Saint-Géry in the heart of Brussels.
